Join us for our annual fall Barn Dance fundraiser at Stowe's charming Comfort Farm. Proceeds directly support The Current and help make our world-class art education, exhibitions, public programs, and community events possible.
Guests 21 years of age and older are welcome.
The Barn Dance experience includes:
- Dig into a fall feast from Edelweiss Deli, featuring pulled pork sliders, vegetarian lasagna, mac & cheese—with and without brisket—seasonal salads, roasted vegetables, and more, plus cheese boards and mushroom crostini from Bear & Bean Kitchen.
- Sway and groove to Steady Betty, Vermont’s premier all-female, all-star Rocksteady band, delivering smooth, soulful, infectious rhythms rooted in the golden age of Jamaican music.
- Ride in comfort with complimentary shuttle transportation between The Current and Comfort Farm.
At the Bar:
Wine and beer will be available for purchase at the bar for $10 each, with a limit of two alcoholic drinks per guest per our insurance policy. Edelweiss Deli’s Purple, a refreshing lavender lemonade, will be available for $6 each. Complimentary seltzer and water will be available throughout the evening.
Onsite Payment:
Due to the remote nature of the Comfort Farm, we recommend bringing cash and/or preregistering your credit card for use at the event.
Parking:
All guests are encouraged to park in Stowe Village and utilize our private shuttle transportation to/from The Current. Shuttles will run from The Current to Comfort Farm between 5–6:30 p.m.; returning shuttles will run from Comfort Farm to The Current between 8–10 p.m.
For those who require accessible onsite parking at Comfort Farm, it is available at no additional charge. For all others, it is $30 per car and space is limited. If you require an accessible parking accommodation, please email mail@thecurrentnow.org to request a pass.
