The Current’s 35th Annual Benefit Gala

Gala ’54: After Hours invites you to an art-forward, fashion-driven evening inspired by the legendary Studio 54 era of downtown New York.

Enjoy a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and a reimagined gala experience featuring chef-driven food stations, dessert, live music, dancing, and late-night snacks. Complimentary select wine, beer, and cocktails are included. Black tie optional, glamour encouraged.

We’ve designed this year’s gala to keep the energy high while giving guests plenty of time to connect, dine, and dance.
Dinner will be enjoyed from chef-driven food stations, with seating at your assigned table. This improved format allows you to dine at your own pace while the celebration unfolds and the dance floor comes alive.

Event Schedule:

5:00 p.m. 
Check-in opens with cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and the silent auction.

6:45 p.m. 
The Current presentation begins, including the live auction, paddle raise, and raffle preview. Guests will enjoy a VIP tasting plate and wine while seated at their tables.

8:00 p.m. 
Dinner: Chef-driven NYC food stations open. Guests are invited to return to their assigned tables to dine and connect with friends.
Dance Floor: Disco 802 kicks off the party and opens the dance floor.

9:30 p.m. 
Silent auction closes.

9:45 p.m. 
DJ Snowmelt takes over the dance floor. Late-night snacks are served and the raffle winner is drawn.

10:30 p.m. 
Last call.
